Not exactly firewall forward, but here it goes.
My fuel system has been the bane of this truck since I got it. I have almost killed my third pump. :evilbat: I have decided to take it out of the equation.
Old setup: New tank, sumped, MSD pump, Inline filter, alum line from the tank to the junction by the trans/transfer case.
New setup: Dual feed from sump, through prefilter, to Aeromotive A1000
, all braided line, -6 to junction.
QUESTION:The Earl's 991955 number that bounces around the board is pressure side and it is 16mm x 1.5
Earls also lists, 991954 14mm x 1.5 Is this what our smaller return lines are? Are the threads the same or is just the diameter of the hose smaller? I cannot remember!
If so then the adapter exists, to run new braided line from the junction by the transfer case to the tank, and this is what I want to do.
Any one know for sure, or a way to find out what the size threads are on the return line, at the junction by transfer case? Are they the same size on both pressure and return?
