gasoline stains on cladding

has anyone other than me had problems with stains on the cladding under the filler? I've tried black chrome etc. and the rest of the cladding looks great, but I can't get this area cleaned. Any ideas

The cladding on my Phoon is streaky in spots also...wonder is that could be why. I can't get the shit off.

I use liquid Zymol on the cladding of my Sy and it seems to clean off everything and keeps it shiny/protected. I've never had Fuel STAINS but as long as a preservative/protectant is on the cladding, most spills of all kinds shouldn't do any permanent damage.
