gauging interest, RPM tubular control arms w/balljoints&bushings

I would be keeping my coilovers, and selling just the arms. I would leave the bushings in as well as the balljoints. I would think that 650-700 would be a fair asking price but I'm not sure how much coils cost by themselves. I think RPM sells the entire kit for 1700, so if u can get the coils and shocks for less than 500 you would save 500 or more.

EDIT: Link to RPM website $1695, for the entire setup---WITHOUT ball joints.

These are the very first batch of RPM arms and have had problems with one of the welds. Mike said he would fix it free of charge for me though.

If someone was serious about buying, I would ship them to RPM to have them fixed. Or if you are good with welding could fix it easy I'm sure. He just adds a small tab for strength.
I have had one person show some interest in these, just trying to see who would be serious enough to buy them.

I will take some pictures of them tomorrow and post them up.
Let me know if this is something you would think about buying.

I'm in the market for a complete setup but might do just the arms if the coilovers are available. Sportmachines is about to release a complete kit hopefully soon and I would like to see what that kit looks like.

I'll call dibs if you are not in a hurry to sell. Once I see the Sportmachines kit I'll decide. If you can't wait, I understand.

I am planning on getting the Smachine arms as well. I have talked to them and they are keeping things under wraps until the kit is done.

I figure this would help someone get a great mod at a reduced price. Save $300-500

And I might wait to see what coilovers they include. As stiff as the front end feels on my truck just pushing on it by hand (almost no movement) it drives like a dream. I was/am very happy with the RPM arms. Not sure why I want to replace them. They work great.

Just gauging interest

I hope I'm not giving too much away, but the SM kit will use the JSM designed arms that have a better ball joint placement. Good for longer ball joint life I think.

What timing! If you'd posted this last week the money would already be in your account.

Decisions, decisions.

I think i am going to hold off a while on selling these. I need to be able to move the truck around. Might just have RPM fix them and throw them back on for the time being.

But keep an eye out, they may be for sale in a few months. Sorry for the tease, and thanks for showing some interest.

I know right. Figure i need to work on things that are a problem right now, and need to be taken care of. As well as give people time to see the SM arms when they come out. And who knows i may end up getting these fixed and keeping them. They ride great.

Not parting it out. I have thought about it to fund an LS swap, but i want to keep the v6 for the time being. And just trying to sell some things that arnt needed at this point. And try to fix as many small issues as i can, and make it look as nice as possible.

I am searching the crap out of craigslist for doors and beds. Im not happy with how the replacment doors fit, or the repairs i did on the bed. Going to look at a pas door for $35 (no rust), and a bed $150 on sunday. I want it painted, and i want to drive it by the end of summer. Now that i can throw some money at it, im just trying not to go overboard... Also looking for mint low mile 4x4 s10/s15 to do a frame/cab swap... But then it would be down for another year or two easy im sure.

Already ordered my new wheels, should be here in a month. Might get flamed for what im doing, but i think it will look just as good as my z06 did.

Been a long, long time. Wish i didnt fall of the earth, but when money is low. I cant even think about syty stuff. Drives me crazy. I havent gotten a good night sleep in a month now, as i just think about everything i want/need to do.
