gray wire...where does it go???

There is a gray wire with a black plug behind the valve cover on the passenger side. I cannot figure out where it goes. Any ideas????

It is the jumper test wire for the fuel pump.Give it 12 volts and the pump kicks on.It attaches to nothing.

Yep if it's this one:

"Applying 12 volts to fuel pump test connector to troubleshoot fuel pump or set fuel pressure with vacuum line still connected and motor off (note fuse for safety)."
