Grinding? while driving / new TC

I will start at the beginning.

Bought the truck without the front prop shaft installed.

Got it installed, everything seemed ok, drove it, played with it for 6 months.

The person with the truck before drove it around without the front shaft for who knows how long. So I found a transfer case at the nats for a good price (since my viscus was shot).

I didn't install the TC but mine was not too bad and it was still running fine, but then the truck started making some weird sounds while driving (my drive to my office is 1-2 miles) and thats really all I drove it for a few months. It was kind of a rumbling sound, so I was thinking it was the front prop, so I check and sure enough the boot is gone. Got a loaner from Sportmachines, and guess what still making that noise.

Replaced the TC, tc fluid, rear fluid, front fluid, yoke on driveshaft (because I bought a ty TC) ujoints on driveshaft. While replacing the TC, I inspected the mount, looks good, everything went on smoothly. Go to test drive, same sound, and its pretty bad, scary to drive around the block even. New TC is very tight, front diff has just a little play (which seems normal).

If I can describe the sound, its almost like a bearing is bad, and it starts and stop randomly. You can feel it in the floor by your feet, but not in the steering wheel / shifter. Even with the windows down and your head outside you can't seem to pinpoint the sound.

Any ideas?? i'm just stuck! The only other thing, besides transmissiong or front diff, is maybe a front axle? Where should I start?

TIA!:rant::rant::rant:
