Hello. I was just going to ask you guys what I can do to this truck (minor things) that will me better times make it faster you know. Turbo, injectors, hot wire that kind of stuff that does not call for major modifications and major money?? Any help would be awsome!!

Put the truck on a diet. There's a lot of crap in and on that truck that you nor the truck use in that 13.5 sec. the clocks are runnin'. If it don't make the truck go, stay in one peice, or make the truck legal to make a pass then you really don't need it at the track.

Please do not take this post to an extreme and try to make a pass with no seat.
(I've seen it done.)

Short list: Cap & rotor, wires, plugs, SET TIMING. Hot wire the IC pump relay (so it runs full time) Adjust the TV cable so it shifts corectly.

2nd.

Do a complete tune: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, IC pump, fuel pump & filter, vac line replacement, get an AFPR, and datamaster. Hot wire the IC pump, check for boost leaks, flush & fill tranny, change fluid in the T-case & diffs. A homemade IC scoop would help to, or you can use the battery box method :roll:
