HID Head lights and Cool Tail lights???

I want to upgrade my head lights and fog lights to a set of top quality HID lights. What is the difference between a sealed bulb, a replacement bulb, and a kit with ballast etc... included? I also think I want to change my tail lights if I can find a pair that don't look like they would be used on "pimp my ride". Any suggestions on what brand to use and where to get them? How about the white running lights? TIA :D

Sealed beam: you replace the whole headlight when it burns out (don't think they make these in hid), this is what we have stock
Replacment bulb: would be if you upgragde to some of the h4 style housings out there you can replace just the bulb (also can be had in normal halogen, xenon hid look alike, or you can get an hid retrofit kit, which also sucks).

the kit you want is one that replaces the housing and the bulb with hosings designed for HID bulbs, or you will blind oncoming traffic. I have the sylvanina xenarc setup on my truck, which i got from brightheadlights.com.

Thanks for the advice and info. I was looking at what Brightheadlights.com had for sale and it did look promising. I thought the xenon lights were the real thing not look alikes. As far as tenting my tail lights, ( I said tenting, not smoking Snake Eater) I don't think this is the look I am going for but good info to have. Buy the way, ever raced a viper? There is a yellow Syclone on the SportMachines websight, in the gallery of 1991 Syclones, number 0881.

I think this is more the look I am going to use but I am not sure what kind they are or where to get them. Does it look like those tail lights are fitting well? Aftermarket.

This must be the web sight and page you are talking about. This seems to be what I am looking for. Now, what is the difference between the projector lights and the other HID they have on this page?
