HKS EVC II install

I have had my Ty for about a month now. I did a recent TuneUp and just put my ATR Cat Back on. I took this boost controller out of my Galant VR4. I was wondering were in the engine bay do I tap the power off of? Im not planning on turning the boost up without injectors or a fuel pump. And for the stock Boost Solonoid, do I just un plug it and hide the wire?

depends on if you want key-on or always on power, but you can use the terminal that is on the firewall just to the right of the heater box.

Is that spot a constant power or does it go off when the key is off?

Is this on a stock Turbo/wastegate? A boost controller won't be able to control boost spikes with the stock turbo and wastegate.

Yeah its the stock Turbo/wastegate. So you dont think it will be able to control 15psi. It it not a good idea to put it in?

The HKS WILL work great with your stock turbo/wastegate. I had mine on when the truck was completely stock and it worked great! Spoolup will be quicker, and boost will be rock steady if installed correctly.

Altho an older unit, it works quite well on a modded truck also. I would not give up mine for nuttin.
