Ok so I am going to be using a Holley Dominator EFI set up with my l33 motor. I am keeping my 700r4 that is built and stock converter for now. I pulled the engine wiring harness but need to know what wires I need to keep off the stock harness. I know the brake portioning valve has a sensor. One on the Trans and one on the t-case. Are there any others I need to pull out. I do not have a/c. I did keep the lights

Do the 4L80e. A 700r4 is not going to hold upto an awd turbo v8. You don't want to set up the engine mounts, oil pan and exhaust to find to out that you have to redo them because entire engine location has shifted slightly when you swap to 4l80e.

It's going that way temporarily and I have adjustable motor mounts. The Syclone will be N/a until winter. Just need to know what I need to keep off the engine harness.

some have had the transmission converted non electric for shifting then put a toggle switch on for converter lock up. easiest solution.

Isn't a stock syty trans already non electronic for the shifting? The tv cable controls shifts doesn't it? The only electronic function is the converter lockup, and that is easily switched

Forgo the switch and use a pressure switch for lockup. You don't have to worry about switching it on/off.

Or use the holley to control the tcc just like stock. Its relatively simple to setup and the very nice part is Randy Merritt already laid the ground work for it so its a no brainer on how to do it. Look at his thread in the chipping forum, he has a lot of great info about the holley setup and what worked for him.

Good luck and your going to love the holley :D I know I do
