Hood Latch Prob?

My hood latch broke and now my hood is stuck down.,,,how do I get it up again with the latch broke, Cant even get it to release that little bit to get at the arm under the hood...

You can take a screwdriver and push the little "looped lever" that the cable is interlocked in. Push it towards the driver-side and wa-la. Now take a minute to think of how easy it would be for a thief to do this.

atleast you didnt have my prob... this summer my hood latch broke and the catch didnt catch.... at 50 or so mph....... left a nice crease in my hood and a good ol dent in the roof.... POS..
