Im new to the world of Sy and Ty, I just bought a 91 Sy and Im tring to get the bugs out. The truck sometime runs pretty good but I found some little probs. First I had some Exh leaks, then boost leaks, then fuel rails loose injectors coming out and now the distributor is loose very loose I couldnt believe the truck was running. Now how do you set the timing and how the hell do you get to the bolt that hold the distributor. Anyone? :x

Big in the rear
Unplug little brown wire under pas. side carpet. Then check the timming, I just use a 9/16 open end from the pas. side, right above the fpr to get to the bolt. Its a pain in the ass but its the best way i have done it. Other people use sockets and swivels to get to it and have luck as well.

After it is set to 0* plug the brown wire back in. your set.

93Ty475 I'd like my truck to run as good as your sig, what can I do. the prev. owner told me the truck had a small stroked engine a 66turbo shift kit and aftermarket shafts capable of 1.50 or .40 60 foot times but it only has 30 inj.

Passenger side right under the dash. You might have to remove the panels under the dash to get the carpet back. HTH
