I broke my cardan joint on the prop shaft . HELP !

ok my stock prop is f'ed up i broke the cardan joint on the stock shaft ( thats the trans case end where both ujoints sit ) the neddle bearings are missing inside and the holes for the u joint are not holes anymore. more like ovals . Now i've searched for gilbert pics on old post but for some reason the show up as just red X's ? so I looked for prices on Wallers site and they dont seem to list any :rant: What are my options ?

I'm low almost broke so $ is a problem and the truck is basically stock so I dont need anything HD.

1. find stock one for sale cheapest option
2. buy sftermarket most $ but whats the difference in price and abiltiy of both a macoy - gilbert - or dynotech prop sharft HELP ME !!!!!!!!! PICS WOULD BE GREAT :tup:

The stock propshaft is an accident waiting to happen if you ever plan to boost launch it.

Heavy duty front propshafts for the 700 and the 4L80E conversions.
Includes new front pinion seal and heavy duty bolts for the transfercase end.

The 4L80E propshaft is 3.25" LONGER than the 700r4 shaft. This is why I MUST know which trans you are ordering for.
$413 + shipping for either model.
I have a Gilbert in stock. Seals, bolts everything. If you can't afford to fix it, don't race it. Get a Gilbert. Then take it easy on the truck. The trans will go next if you keep beating on it. If you are looking for a cheap fix, you'll be back on here before the summer is out looking for another one. You realize your fuel lines, TCC wiring, shifter cable, all that stuff is right there. The shaft may just be the beginning of your problems.

ive got a dynotech ill sell u for 70 bucks i only used it 3000 miles i got it off here in the winter when my stocker broke for 75 now i got the gillbert...let me know -joe
