i've been looking at this red 93 typhoon on Autotrader.... i looked up the website with the true vin... they say it goes .........Z1....... this one goes .........Z4....? so is it a true typhoon? i really dont want to purchase a clone... if you want to look at it seach for typhoons on autotrader.... its $7,900 at KC Imports... it doesnt have any interior pics either.... please hellp!!!

Hello and welcome to the site.
If you perform a search on here, you will find that the general consensus regarding the red typhoon at KC Imports is 'poor condition.'
The 9th digit of any VIN is called the 'check-digit' which will vary from 0 through 9 and include X. The 8th digit is important as well as the 10th, 11th, as it designates year, engine type, and plant.
All Syclone will have an 8 as it's 11th digit.
All Typhoon will have a O as the 11th digit.

If I am not mistaken, this truck had already been sold from KC Imports. I tried to call the number and got a voice mail the few times I called, however never got a call back. I believe someone else on here called and actually spoke with the guy and was informed that it was sold.

FWIW what I have been seeing is dealers leave sold cars in the advertisements just to get some exposure. They want you to call about something just to say it was just sold, but I have this other truck/car here if you want to come in and take a look at it.
I have seen it while shopping for sedans. I could not believe how many " I just sold that today" responses. What a coincidence. It also lets them advertise their business, because if they pull the ad, then they pull the exposure.
