every time it shifts into 2 it bangs so loud . it sounds like it is goning to drop out. the mount is good. my right motor mount is bad. can this be my
problem :x

the broken mount wont change the way it shifts but it could be making the noise your hearing. the bang could be the mount. I would fix that first.

What RPM does it shift at? If it seems it is shifting really late, that could be a problem. TV cable may have been adjusted too tight for a "firmer" shift but it be timed too late making the pressure too high. 2-4 band doesn't like that. Generates a lot of heat.

does it feel like its slipping before it shifts? mine does, it also shifts really hard, keep forgetting to check tranny fluid, but i also know that my fuel filter is dead, and that can cause the slipping part.

Can you be any more descriptive? Is it a nasty noise like John is talking about or is it an obvious bang that jerks the whole truck like a TV cable out of adjustment? Tough to describe a sense of feeling in words I know. Wish I could've been more helpful.

i put a new prop shaft on today . the bang is gone. it started when i removed it. got a coustom made shaft. 8) [/u]
