She's got alot of issues but I've got solutions (with the boards help of course :p ). You should see the pile of parts downstairs...it's like a Sy/Ty first aid kit in my dining room. ::thumbsup::

Noooooooo!!

This is the '93 Ty that was on AutoTrader for $7900 with a AZ salvage title due to theft right?

I wanted this truck since it is #0279 from 1993 and I own #0279 from 1992. You beat me to it by 2 hours.

I'd been in touch with the guy who was selling it for the past 3 weeks or so just in case the deal didn't go through. Called him today, and he said you were on your way from Tucson to pick it up.

Well, if you ever decide to sell it, let me know. :)

Ah Kurt...so you're that guy from Texas Jeff was talking about.

Sorry you're disappointed but there was no way I was letting this truck go if there was anything I could do about it. All I can say is I hope you get a good deal on another truck.

At least it went to a good home. This is my 2nd Ty and I've got a good idea what it takes to keep her in good health. :fadein:

As a side note the converter wasn't locking on the way home. I know how the system works but as far as I know that's not a normal problem in a stock truck. I'm going to try locking it manually at the ALDL and hooking diacom up to it to make sure the ECM is commanding the TC to lockup. After that I'm at a loss.

Yep, I was the guy from TX. And you're the guy from AZ he was talking about. Oh well, that truck was my "plan A"...I guess that means I need to get the wheels turning on "plan B".

That truck does need a little work, but nothing major. You got a good deal on it. Enjoy the truck. 8)

Nice to see you back in sy/ty land. Going to stay out in Arizona or are you coming back to Kansas? Congrats on the new purchase

I'm kinda stuck here indefinitely Gabe. Bought a house and everything.

It's nice to race year around though!

They didn't. I bet the guy that did the repairs on her thought they were missing or something since they were on some the other 4 destroyed Ty's he has in his junk yard.

Hey Trevor, welcome to the group. If you need any help with it, let me know(I'm over in the Silverbell/Grant area). So far I've done almost the entire drivetrain and all of the suspension(well, almost done at least).

Sounds like you've got it under control though.

whats up on the condition of the "other" trucks hthey had, are they at all worth it? The way i look at it is this, sooner or later the syty will become a classic and, yeah the more there ISNT, the higher the value of mine goes up or what have you, but i am about saving the dead syty's, too sad to hear about.
