killed an M5

I was on the local 1/8th mile track last Thuesday night. Went against a brand new BMW M5 and gave him ~3 lengths. Got more than that at the start , started to come back but not enough.

I went 9.018, he went 9.643. The launch pad was absolutely crapy, so he had no chance. Anyway, don't flame me, I know I'm slow. Just don't know why...

Peace,

Sure they can beat a C5 w/ a car and driver editor behind the wheel. Not much competition on the street, though. Or the 1/8 mile for that matter. Falco's competition is more than a second off the pace and indicative of most M5 owner's driving skill.

Just found out that these times are not accurate. The clock started with the green, and both of our reaction times were crappy. Idiots!!! Anyway, I should be happy. It could mean even .5 for me. I was wondering because I measured consistent 8.2-8.3's with DM that night. Now here is the reason.

About the M5. As Jeremy said. The M5 is not living on the 1/8th. Can't hook. On the freeway. From a roll. That's their theritory.

My mods on my page, BTW.

got an M5 from a roll twice for short distance, then tried to stop on secondary road for launch and he dumped it and tried to slingshot by me while i was stopped. he got by me about half a car then boost came up, just rolled by him, got his beemer ass spanked good, bet he remembers what a sy is next time. at least he gave me a thumbs up when he turned off, lots more class than the rustang retards around here.
