You could do that same one, if you wanted... just get the Caspers knock gauge and an external knock module from a CPI 4.3. You'd also need to get an additional sensor, since the external module wants a different type.

Wouldn't be 100% accurate, but it'd give you a better indication than nothing.

As Jeff mentioned, we have prototypes of knock gauges that work with code59, that output the actual KR that the ECM is seeing.

The general SyTy public would be amazed if they saw how often and how much their vehicle knocked....

im sure. we never hear it cause the ECM is always pulling timing. i've heard it gets real ugly when tuning SA with the maxium krock retard set to 1.

Im not amazed but sickened. This is somethign that drives me alomst to the edge of insanity. Especially when you get it all tuned out and somehtign changes bringing it all back.
