Hi folks,
Just wanted to let you know that I just received my refinished Sy stock center caps back from SportMachines and they were definitely worth the wait! As well, the price was VERY reasonable!
Several years ago I had a bad experience with this issue when I used Wheel Wizards of Atlanta to refinish a wheel and cap. John Waller recommended this shop. While they did an acceptable job on the wheel (tho the color did not match my remaining wheels) they butchered the cap. To be fair, they said they had never done caps before but they would try to fab-up something they could use on their lathe. It didn't work!
I was going to throw the cap away but being as rare as they are I'm glad I didn't. Tom was able to refinish this cap to an almost-perfect finish, as well as the other cap I sent him.
So, thanks to all who recommended SportMachines. Their reputation is obviously well-earned!
