Kumho W710

morning..

iv been hunting around for tires for my 16x9.5 inch Riken meshie wheels..getting to be slim pickins for 16. i know most have upgraded to bigger rims,but i cant quit my meshies. i likes 'em..plus i have 2 sets,and the stockers!

came across these..wodering if anyone has experience/opinions on these..265 45s. i assume they are a softer tire that will wear out quicker? they are wide as hell!

im not an auto-crosser..dont frequent the track much,but i drive aggressively(like most boost junkies). also i can unlock my frt. diff for the occasion smokey burn out=) but just a summer cruiser,put about 5-7k miles on a season. looking for a decent riding tire that wont break the bank.
im also eyeing some BFGs g-force in a 255 50..those are a bit pricey,not to mention unavailable from my supplier at this time..

i have Coopers on the stockers,and the Falken ziex ze 512s (255 50s) on the Rikens are all done. can get another set for under 400
looking for something different. suggestions?

Those tires are way to soft, on the street they prob wont last 3-4000 miles

Treadwear of 30 is crazy.

I had Kumho Ecstas on my 96' Camaro ... I dont think they were the w710's though.

I liked them and they lasted awhile before I pulled them off to get matching fronts for my rears. ---

any other opinons/suggestions out there?

those new BFG g-forces are supoda be great tires.. available in the next few weeks..but im impatient & my Falkens are well below the wear bars. ready to get 'er out for the summer,but still a bit of sand on the streets. but dont need to slide into anything. knowhatimean.
