Leak under boost

I've developed a leak under boost, had a quick look under the hood but not had chance to do a proper test yet. When driving up the road today I noticed something hanging underneath. Any ideas?

Re: Leak under boost

That looks like the transfer case breather/vent tube. Just route it up front to the engine compartment, then zip tie it where it won't fall out again. It has nothing to do with boost.

Re: Leak under boost

Check the clamps from your turbo outlet all the way to the throttle body and make sure they are all tight. It sounds like boost leaking from a loose clamp. I'm not positive, but it is worth a look.

If you have another source for compressed air, like an air tool compressor, or a bicycle tire pump. You can plug it in to one of your vacuum hoses and listen for leaks while the truck is not moving.

There is a really good write up on here about using a bicycle pump.

Thanks. I'll see if I can find it unless somebody would be kind enough to post a link
