You take I-25 to highway 50 and go EAST. I'm not quite sure how far cause i havent been there in a while. But you will see a sign for Pueblo Motorsports Interplex or P>M>I> and i believe you will turn left and just follow the signs. There a lot of gas stations along the way to ask for real directions. Im just going to play it by ear im sure it will all come back to me when i actually get there.

Ill actually be at the race on sunday. My wifes mom lives up there and we were gonna go for an hour or two depending on if its cool or not. Ive never seen an indy race before. Lots of racing this weekend 
. Im a little nervous about racing cause my friend Tom has a syclone and it ran 14.1 w/alky and boost controller. So i hope i can atleast get into the 14's. My Ty is all pretty much brand new and his sy is all original and worn so maybe new will do me good but well see i guess. If anyone from Denver wants to follow me to PMI you can pm me and i will set a time to meet here in CS and we can go from there.

You should be going faster than 14.1 especially with alky and good tuning............... Will_in_Denver u gonna say something on this one?

From what i have read, a stock Ty should run 14.1 brand new and at sea level. If his truck isnt pulling the #'s it should be thats not my problem. Im just sayin that ive never ran my truck before and its all stock and if he cant even hit 13's with alky and boost control then im thinkin i probably wont either being stock and extra heavy. Something you have to figure is that we are at 6000 feet. high altitude = loss of hp. Loss of hp = lower e.t.'s.. Lower e.t.'s = DAMN I NEED A BIGGER TURBO. I dont know who will is but if hes in denver runnin 13's with a stock ty then we need to be friends.

I have had 2 SHOs, a 90 & 93. Yes they're fast to a certain extent BUT not faster than a SY or a TY, stock for stock. I have driven a 92 TY and own a SY. No way can he get 314 hp running naturally aspirated either. I got rid of my 2nd SHO because of the crappy transmissions (I replaced it twice) and lack of Ford tech support/knowledge at the dealership.

I assume you replaced an ATX tranny twice.. Yeah, they are a piece of junk. In fact, the only reason I bought the car is for the Yamaha motor. If you busted an MTX, you should know that the stock tranny does not take wheel to burn outs. The differential pin shears and sends a larger pin through your case. I have a Quaife to solve that and add to the fun around turns
There is a saying in the SHO community... "Ford Taurus SHO, turning regular people into mechanics since 1989". That is a very accurate saying too.

By the time I got rid of my 2 SHOs I knew more about them than the mechanics at the Ford garage. The SY/TY and SHO are all "sleepers" in their own right. I ruined 2 mtx trannies, 20 sets of spark plug wires $120/set, 1 MAF, numerous clutches, cv joints, a/c compressor, condensor....what else???? I drove both cars alot. One had 95000 and the other 108000, when I got rid of them. I autocrossed them and they were also daily drivers.

Thats how i feel about my Typhoon. Noone around knows squat about them. I tried to get map sensor onceand got 3 different ones from the GMC dealer. If you call and say something like...

I saw our guy today He pulled out on the street in front pretty fast. Being that, that is where I got my last ticket, I did not persue until I got onto another road... He took I-25 S. and I took I-25 N. Oh well...

Well i got some raunchy news. Ran my truck for the first time last night. Got wiped out by a grand national. He ran a 13.8 and i ran a 15.2. I was soooo disappointed. I had forgotten that i released the rear window and right when i took off i just heard all this exhaust and when i looked in the rearview all i could was my window popping up. I was so damn embarassed my face was red the whole time down the track but for whatever reason ( and im awfully thankful ) noone seemed to notice. Then it was an srt-4. He was runnin NOS and ran a 14.5. I ran again 15.2. Atleast on my last run ii beat the crap out of the car next to me. A new GTS eclipse. he ran a 16.9. Pretty lame car i thought they were faster than that. I firmly believe my truck is running a little rich cause shootin down the track i notice a little smoke out the back. Could anyone say that is normal or not? Ive seen good running cars smoke a little but i would think that ideally they wouldnt if they were tunned properly.

I suppose but no engine light and runs pretty smooth for the most part. stalls every now and then but other than that ill have to wait til i get my datamaster and laptop set up so i can really check it out. Thought about going to get emissions just to see what kinda #'s its runnin in the mean time.
