ls1 rear disk brake swap issues

hi all
did the late fbody brakes.
awesome, to say the least.
anyway, to anyone who has done this - i have a coupla ?'s.
first - what'd u do for p[brake cables?
2 - did u use the oem tone rings on the axles, and does the new abs sensors pick up adequately?
last - this applies apparently only to syclone, not typhoon, tho i could be wrong.
i need to see some ty abs sensors/backing plates to know if they're the same
thnaks in advance
mike

According to Tydriver who has done the swap on his typhoon he used his original tone ring and he said he had no issues. Hes the man you want to talk to. Have you tried holding boost with the new setup??? Any less holding power?? Also, did you have to cut the mounting flange where the backing plate bolt to??? Syclones dont have the normal square 4 bolt flange as the Typhoons do. Thanks Fern Sy#477

got soome initial help from him, then nothing.
ty and sy r different - sy is 3 bolt, ty is 4 bolt.
yes, had to cut - no big deal.
tydriver didnt know anything baout the abs specifics on the sy, natch, as he's got a ty.
i'll post end results of the abs issue.
boost at the line =- nope, havent dicked arouind yet - just revelling in the new lack of vibration and racket form the edploded former rear end.
had it to maybe 10 psi no problem, but havent actually tried going full boat yet.
i also have baer 13in fronts, so thats a rather radical improvemtn in clamping force there.
so, still wanna hear form someone who has actually doner this on a sy please.
far as the park brake goes, i am pretty sure baer racing's cable setup will work, but i dont care too much as it has not ever worked since i had the truck.

I haven't actually done the swap yet, but all the parts are in the garage. Just waiting on finding some time to do it.

I've ordered the 13" baers as well, we'll see just how good I can get these brakes. Flaming pads at the end of the 1/4 are just no fun.

I'll post back when I get around to sorting out the details.

Maybe I am behind the time here.. but has someone put a page together with all of the ins and outs of this conversion... my Ty is not Canadian fast yet and I already hate the way it stops.

dont waste time on the rears till you do the fronts - happy as i am (and i'm thrilled) the fronts are really where it's at - you dont realize how shitty they r till u get better ones.
