Manifold Coating

[S10 Turbo]

Can anyone recomend a do it yourself coating for a stock set of manifolds? I have no experience with this stuff and just want to keep my manifolds looking decent.

unfortunately if you have a turbo motor you have to send it to swain, hpc, or jet hot. the stuff you can do yourself will chip off. Usually it is only good to 1350 deg

I've used Black Satin from Techlinecoatings on mine. You have to sandblast your manifold before you put a up the stuff. It lived through a couple of heat cycles without any sign of wear so far. Hopefully we will how does it perform on the long term...
