MAY NASTE Meet: Jimmy V's House, Milford, CT, BBQ -Sat. 22nd

Well hopefully by May, we will have some good weather up here in the Northeast. What better time to have a BBQ! Plans at the moment are to have a BBQ and possible wrench session at Jimmy's house, followed by possibly Hooters for drinks and maybe a cruise and photo shoot, not nessicarily in that order.

IMPORTANT!
Due to the fact that we're not going out to eat, the food has to be picked up ahead of time by Jimmy or brought by those attending, so we will need an EXACT headcount. If you are bringing a guest, please make sure you post that you will have 1, 2, ect guests plus yourself.

Please feel free to discuss what food/drink you would like to see at this meet and/or if you will volunteer to bring any items yourself.

Hey guys,

Although the Garage Project probably won't be 100% completed by then, we figured on having the BBQ/Meet anyhow.


There is PLENTY of parking here, neighbors are pretty cool and we have a fairly large backyard to hang-out in.

Garage space and driveway space are ample for those who wish to have a wrenching session or such.

Any questions??....do not hesitiate to ask.

I was initially thinking about putting together a meet in MA the week before this (I talked to my wife about this weekend to get an OK) but I am just in the initial stages of this. Maybe I will do Dragstrip meet and goto this instead.

My sister's little baby has a birthday this week (May 23) that I have I have to attend, but I think she may have it on Sunday. This is the only reason forsee that will prevent me from attending. So put me in tentatively.

I'm going to try and make it out for this providing I can get off of work. I've been taking a lot of Saturdays off lately, plus with the weather getting nice, we've been getting more customers. Especially on Saturdays. So put me down for a maybe.

ok I updated the list, but we REALLY need to start figuring out what we wanna have in the way of food, as well as "things to do". A small wrench session might be possible and I believe Jimmy said there was a Hooters not too far from him, so maybe a cruise or something.

Lets get some ideas going.

Yup, there is a Hooters very close to my house, we could cruise up there in the afternoon or whatever.


As for food, if you guys just want burgers and hot dogs, its on me... 8)
My wife can make up a nice big salad as well, chips, soda...on me.

As for beer, I have long-neck bottle Budweiser..on me. :drinking:

If you want anything else,...we can make up a list of things someone wants to bring,..other than that, the items listed above will be at the BBQ...

What could be better than free food?? ....well, lets keep it a 'clean' thread..

I added a "Food" catagory and added all the items that you have graciously offered to those attending.

I have also added myself for bringing some Corona (and limes) and Im gonna see if I can get any seafood to bring up, didnt wanna add anything to the list till I had it.

If anyone else wants to bring something, chime in and BE SPECIFIC about what you wanna bring and remember to look at the number of people going
