i want to cover a few things in one post so i can be flamed as a newb who didn't use the search function (which i did) in one thread, as opposed to 5...
i think i have some of the answers, so i'll pose some of these as statements (correct me if i'm wrong)...
wheels:
i want sawblades. got a line on 9.5/10.5 blades but want to make sure they're right. i test fitted some ZR1 rep wheels from my buddy's vette today... 8.5/9.5 i believe... looked like i needed about a 1" spacer in the rear. (255/50/17 and 285/50/17 - front actually tucked in about 1/4" - that was tolerable - rear was about an inch inset) i don't want spacers. we're getting his real ZR1 wheels tomorrow to test fit (11's for the rear) and going to try those. is that what i need? 9.5/11 combo? i got the tire size down. 275/40 FR and 315/35 RR, i believe?
fuel:
installed gauges to monitor the truck since i don't know much about it and i know that tuning is critical for a boosted vehicle. idle is around 50psi but under boost it's a steady 70-72psi. is that too much? (the truck seems to stumble a little under full boost - more on that) the most recent comparison i have is from a boosted viper truck which ran a steady 60psi under boost - 8.3L engine on 8# of boost - not sure if that's an adequate comparison, but it's all i have to go by. do i have a bigger pump or injectors? whether the answer is maybe or no, is 70 too high? should i get an FPR? or is there one from the factory?
ecm:
currently has this moates ostrich thingy hardwired into the ecm. is there a better way (since this is 2015 and all)... can i return the ecm back to stock and tune with an SCT or HP tuner, or EFI live or something like that? not looking for max numbers or anything like that, just want it as safe as possible... or is that ostrich the way to go? it stumbles a little under WOT... not a hiccup, but having turbo cars before, it feels like something's not quite right (i don't have the AFR gauge hooked up yet, so i can't tell you what it's running under WOT). it builds boost to 16# (14.5# is stock?) and stays but it feels like minor surges - and the thing is a turd from a 50 roll - noisy, but not fast at all... it's like a little lean, or a little rich... no smoke, though and doesn't smell rich...
injectors/fuel:
the truck sat for a while ran like shit when i first got it. replaced a cracked spark plug and that helped 90%... only run 93 in it and ran a can of seafoam on the first tank when i got it. i think the injectors may be clogged. what's the way to check if they're oem or aftermarket? or should i just buy new ones? if so, which? (planning to leave it as stock as it is now)
same question for the fuel pump... is it in tank? if so, i'm not gonna check it until i get that far down the line and it still doesn't run right... i'm planning to do plugs and wires this week all the way around so i know i can eliminate that from the equation - looking forward to that...

like to take an inch front and rear out - just go with the belltech kit?
