picked up my truck today,riding nice & low,running great. drove like an old lady for the first 10 miles headed back to work,listening for any odd noises. got on the main 'drag' to my dealership and jumped on it a tiny little bit and wooOOOSSsh...up to 80,cut across a couple lanes to hit my exit,check the mirrors...blue rollers! DAMMIT!
he stopped me for erratic lane changes. said i was doing 80(speedo is accurate)..guess i dident pull on the turn signal arm hard enough to activate the blinker during the lane shift. takes a week for me to adjust to the truck when i swap-keep reaching for the clutch pedal...not there.
he had me sitting for awhile,checked me out good as i had a repair plate on the truck...must of had EVERYONE i work with drive by me during the stop. needless to say,no one was surprised...
ended up with a $100 ticket for illegal lane change. let me slide on the speeding. another ticket to fight. i think i can wiggle out of it having just got it out of storage,unregistered and on a repair plate,i.e. in need of repairs.... can you say faulty combi switch??
