Re: my small project

Wheels are in good shape but the center caps re starting to peal the clear. Still a good set. But I like the stocks but they dont show off my new brakes.

Re: my small project

I just want to drive it. I dont know how you have gone that long without driving your TY. At that point I will have it towed just so I can sit in it while it is moving.

Dirty!?!?!?!? That truck looks very clean!!!! That hood turned out really nice. Nice paint job. Looks good. We need to have a NorCal meet soon.

The cladding is dull and all the dust. Here is how I like to keep it.

Re: my small project

Well, truck is done. I have a few problems.
1) sounds like an exhaust leak near the turbo.??
2) the remote trans filter has a small leak along with the trans pan(never leaked before and never touched it?)
3) brakes still has a leak on the banjo bolt (replacement parts shipped)

Re: my small project

Exhaust leak was the turbo housing was hitting the manifold post. I guess it was too long and would not let the turbo seat down. Cut it and tada...no leak.
Its ready as soon as I fix the brake leak. Air filter was a bitch to get in there. I had to go with a small one but it has a open end. When I rev up the engine I can hear it sucking hard.
