NASTE Decals

I know Mike S. has gotten away from printing the various NASTE decals, so I'm going to take his suggestion and have some made up myself. While I'm going through the process, I figured I could have extras made if anyone else wants them. I'm planning on getting some quotes either Friday or Saturday, so if anyone thinks they want some, either post here or PM me (non-binding of course). Personally, I'm planning on getting the 7" NASTE-Typhoon logo, and the new NASTE logo in both red and white.

Once I get prices, I'll let everyone know. Btw, I'm not going to try to make any money on this, I'm going to sell and ship at my cost and I just wanted to throw out the offer for everyone's convenience.

Hi guys, Mike Salkewicz here.

I am not going to sell any more of the Syclone or Typhoon outline NASTE decals. I spent a great deal of time redesigning the NASTE logo to, as Morgan mentioned, avoid the superior pain in the ass of creating publicity materials and merchandise with two separate logos. If anyone is interested in a decal with the new logo, you can either send me an email and we can work out what you are looking for and how much it will cost, or you can download this file and take it to your local sign or decal shop and have them cut it to your specs.

I am sorry to those who mailed me regarding "outline decals" whom I never responded to you. The above should answer your questions.

Regarding T-Shirts, I am willing to redesign the back to a collectively approved layout and will order and print the shirts through my work if you all wish. The total cost/per piece cost is determined by the order quantity and how many are light ink/dark shirt versus dark ink/light shirt, but I will give you guys the best price I can. I haven't checked in for quite a while here, so I am not sure whether Morgan is still the one busting his ass for this group, but if someone wants to commandeer this thing, send me an email if you think I can be of help.

That's from the NASTE tshirt thread. I can respect the fact that this was probably a major PIA for Mike, and I don't plan on doing this on an ongoing basis like Mike has done.

Ok, I've had a request for sizing for the new NASTE decal. I'm very open to suggestions on this, since I really didn't think that far ahead. Right now I'm planning on getting the NASTE-Typhoon made up around 7" wide. Does around 5" wide for the new logo sound good to anyone considering it? I'll get this figured out at some point.

I have a naste "typhoon" logo on my blazer and my little brother's blazer.. both are maybe 5"wide.. the perfect size if you ask me..

im not into big stickers on windows..

i think i have one or two extras, but i could always use more..

so let me know sizes, colors, and prices and im in.

Guys who already have some of the old ones... if you get the chance, could you measure what size you have? Especially if you could post a pic to give an idea of scale. For those who might not know exactly what logos I'm talking about, these are from the "Images" page on northeastsyty.com. I'll post the prices and colors here when I get to that point.

I have been away on business trip. I was going to do the same thing, but I will let you do the work. I am interested in some decals, I would like 5-10 Black Syclone outline decals. I would like some new decal as well, but I am undecide on black or white. I am thinking about buying a pile of white naste decals as well to stock up for members....

Just a side note the old decals are easy to ruin, I snagged mine washing the rear window.

As far as pricing, I have some personal decals that I want cut for myself (old Sy outline and new Naste Decals). I was thinking about trying to having a bulk of decals so when some ask for NASTE decals so we have some in stock. It seems like it would be more cost effective to make a larger order. I am guessing that their is an additional cost for each color as well (ie it more cost effective to make a sheet of black decals than each color) I guess what I am tyring to say what are our cost breaks for quanity's.

Dave, you beat me to it. The ordering in bulk plan is exactly what I was thinking. Judging by what people have PM'ed and posted, I've been hearing requests for Red, Black, White, and Silver. What I thought up during SNL last night was 12 ea. of Red and Black, 10 of Silver, and 16 of White, since that will probably be the most popular. This was all to fit with the 50 pieces you mentioned Joe.

I was considering ordering one group of half old Syclone, half old Typhoon, and one group of new logos in those color breakdowns.

Dave, you can handle it or I can handle it, either way works fine for me. Joe, can you offer any thoughts on pricing or suggestions that I'm not thinking of, since you actually work with orders like this regularly? By the way, large .gif's, .eps, and .ai versions of all of these images are available for download on the NASTE website, at http://www.northeastsyty.com/ in case you weren't aware already. OK... here's the deal.

I'm not sure why the NASTE design has extra space (1a) but if I take it out (1b) then the height/width becomes the same as the SyTy designs (2,3). Also, I created a RIGHT and LEFT version of the SyTy designs. This will have both of them facing forward if they were put on the sides of the truck.

If someone wanted just one decal, I'd say $5 shipped taking into consideration wasted material, my time, postage and packaging. Actual cost would be around $1.50-$2.00 for one 6" decal.

For the SyTy community, group purchase, not my original design...etc... etc... I'll ship any 2 (same color) 6" decals for $5.00. For the group purchase, I have temporarily added an item to my web site for this purchase. You can view it HERE

I can do a sheet of 10 decals for $8.00 and up to 5 sheets for $5.00 shipping to a single address. This is a temporary listing and will be removed once my site is completed. Although they will still be available, private logo's will not be sold without approval from respectable members.

The final cost for each person would work out to less than $1.00 each. Most would probably get at least 2 decals at $.80 each and $.37 stamp for shipping from the distributor. (I'm guessing it'll be Dave?) If I keep them at 6", they will fit in an ordinary envelope.

I have all colors in stock except silver. I'll order a roll of silver if there is a need for it, which it appears there is. Just as a note... the MOUSE GRAY is very close to ARGENT GRAY used for cladding. I can have the order ready to ship within 1 week of placing the order and receiving payment.

If anyone needs custom sizes, I'd be happy to work something out one on one. Here's the designs and just click the image for my site.

Also, as a suggestion I can make the images more bold which will help with durability.

OK...Due to a number of responses to my last post in just an hour or two.....
...I have decided to check with everyone else here that is interested in the NASTE decals.

If it'll save a lot of hastles and grief of having a separate distributor for the decals, I can offer them on an individual basis and take care of all the mailing myself. Nobody will have to wait for the group purchase to take place and they can get them as needed. Since I won't be shipping all 50 or so decals to one address, I will have to adjust the priceing a bit. instead of $8.00 a sheet of 10, I'll make it $10.00 per sheet. Shipping will be set at a flat fee of $1.00 per item ordered. (3 sheets = 30 decals for $33.00 shipped to your door) For smaller quantities i will have them available @ $1.00ea. but KEEP IN MIND that shipping is $1.00 per item ordered. (10 random decals will be $20.00 shipped)

If everyone here agrees with this I will make necessary adjustments and begin to take orders.
