Need a measurement tank to ground :)

I hopefully will be working on my sy in the next couple months to see about getting it running so I can drive it or decide to sell it. My sy currently sits an hr away and I wanted to get this measurement for something I am prebuilding.

Basically I just want to know what the measurement is from the bottom of the gas tank to the ground. Also let me know if your vehicle is stock height or lowered, if lowered by how much.

Thanks for all the help in advance :D

Re: Need a measurement tank to ground :)

My Syclone is stock and the fuel tank sits approximately 11 and 3/8" at the rear and approximately 10 and 3/8" at the front, from the ground. Keep in mind that the bottom of the tank is not perfectly squared around its edge, and there is a metal brace that secures the tank to the frame and sits approximately 9 and 1/2" from the ground. Hope this is helpfull.

Re: Need a measurement tank to ground :)

Thank You very much for the info I greatly appreciate it and it will help out a lot :)

Could I bother you for 2 more quick measurements ;)
Im not exactly sure how much lower I have my sy than stock could you measure the frame to ground right behind the front tire and right in front of the rear tire? Lowest point of frame.

Tank sits lower to the ground than I would have thought thats for sure!
Thanks again :D

Approximately 19" in front of the rear tire (bottom of the frame to ground), and approximately 7 at the bottom of the frame vehind the front tire.

Thanks again that makes the tank measurements sound better, hopefully this idea I have will work and possibly help some people out. I will post more info once I have some stuff made up and go from there.

Thanks
