Re: need a supra

I have a black/tan/targa/6spd. 42K miles. A 100% virgin car in perfect cond. Never in the rain, not sand blasted - anywhere. Never outside overnight. Still has the Supra stickers on the calipers. The air cleaner element, tires and the battery are the only things that are not factory issue. Would take huge money for me to part with it but as they say, everything has a price. Have you checked the supra forums yet? They usually have a good for sale section.

LOL, only Kurt would know where to find a 1400hp supra.

What does that run, 12.5 @ 170+ ;)

Well, I guess you have a choice....a bone stock one totally untouched, or a 1400hp supra which probably doesn't have a stock windshield.

Re: need a supra

15k for a twin is a long shot. I have seen a miracles happen on the supraforums bb over the course of time i have been a member but you got a long haul to try and find one for that price. We got ours for 18,500 and thats only because the guy had to move and his job reimbursed him the rest of the price he needed for the relocation. If you do happen to find one for 15k most likely its going to be beaten to living hell. Shells sell upwards of 10k alone.

Re: need a supra

you can find one just look, most supra guys are out of there mind on there prices.

true and untrue. The price of these cars is really driven by the mods done to the car. If the owner does the work himself the price usually reflects that. The quality of the parts for these cars range from crap to extremely high end. Obviously the better parts the more the car will be and if a shop did the work forget about it......thats when you see the crazy prices. You would shit yourself calling a shop to get a quote on doing work to these things. Its amazing what these guys get. These cars are not cheap to own and when you modd them doing it right costs five times more than modding sytys's.

Re: need a supra

That is a steep price and it is an automatic. The asking price would be 40+ if it was a 6 speed.
I have watched the Supra market for many years (I have owner them since 1989) and always wondered why (in the last 5 years) that people mod the heck out of the car and then sell it within 2 months of completing the mods. The other thing I noticed is that a virgin car is easier to sell than a modded one and they still command a big number when they are super clean as well.
