need help near toronto

i am hopeing someone in the toronto area could test my
2 ecms by swaping them in to their truck (with my stock chip)

i have a "no start" problem and i hope its just the ecm lol
cuz im stumped

im willing to drive and hour or more to test these things

I'd help..but my truck has no engine. You might want to try Fern A.K.A. "truckins10". Where are you located exactly ...anyway???

in markham..
i think fern has a larger injector set up so my stock ecm
wont work

Might be easier to find someone with an applicable year Sunbird, and test that way.

Have you pulled the codes? The code for "faulty ECM" is DTC 55. Prom error is DTC 51.

I'd check to see if all the pins on the PROM are fully inserted in the socket and latched. I'd also check that all grounds to the ECM are ok.
