Come you guys I know many of you have tried these or are/ have run 1.6 rocker arms. What gains or headaches did they cause for you? Not much came up in a search. Help me out, what did they do for your truck??? Did you pick up MPH??? Did you lose any low end throttle response???? Did the pushrods rub the heads and have to be ground?? I am in the process of replacing valve seals and want to button this thing up in the next day or so, possibly with 1.6 rockers if they are worth it. Thanks Dale

Well,,
Since no one here is posting their results of this Mod, I'll give you my two cents worth
1.6 rockers will give you more lift/make your cam work as if it is a little bigger, if you are running the stock cam, I cant see anything but possitive results comming since our cams have about the lift and profile of a broom stick.
with no more lift than this will add I cant see any issues with studs, pushrods etc. some do go with 1/1000 longer pushrods to straighten up the geometry,
you could experiment putting them just on the intake, this will up the compression a small bit, allowing morefuel/air in.
on the exhaust only will let more exhaust out.
the one positive thing I know is the factory rockers are anything but close tollerance, several people have miked them and they very a lot a 1.5 may be a 1.43 or a 1.57 etc. buying aftermarket stuff will at least give you more uniformity. that all i know, or at least i assume. and yes I know what assumming does.
