Need new needles for gauge cluster

I'm in need of new, unfaded needles for my SGT gauge cluster. Can i get needles off of a full size GM pick up of about the same year or even a late model GM vehicle? Thankx!

Pop yours off, scrape them with a razor blade and repaint the back side with whatever color marker paint you want. I've done mine with silver. Looks good. Your needs have a special counter weight in the black cap and I'd stick with your stock needles. You'll be shocked how easy they fix up

Geroge, what's the trick to not messing up the calibration / reinstall position of the needles?

Re: Need new needles for gauge cluster

When you do the tach and speedo and oil pressure needle install, turn the truck to the "ON" but not the "START" position. This supplies voltage to the gauges. This makes the needles on the tach, speedo and oil pressure "zero out". Make sure you put the needles on with the weighted covers ON them. It makes a big difference. Make them cycle through a few times to be sure it hits zero every time.
The water and battery, you'll can get from datamaster or pay attention when they are removed, put them back in the same spot. Mine were both in the center of the bottom resting pin(pin removed of course).
The fuel level, I filled the tank all the way up and just put the pin at the full mark.

Well that sounds simple enough to just maybe work.

Thanks George!
