Im having some issues with a typhoon motor set up. My builder says he cant get a pulley set for it. Cant I use the pulleys off a 350? Does anyone have the PNs for these or a inexpensive aftermarket kit? Right now I would like to just get it on the road, but I'd still like to dress it up if possible.

Re: Need pulley set up help

I assume you can use a SBC 350 Harmonic Balancer. Is this correct, does the Flywheel stay the same when doing this.
The history on this is: I have a 1932 Dodge Sedan that the motor went into. Due to the narrow engine compartment, the accessories have to be tight to the engine so the stock brackets would need to be modified, but if all the SBC stuff fits then it wont be too hard to mod. Even the twin super 60s had to be tucked under the mid point of the car.
I love this motor, my 92 typhoon is a stocker but still so impressive I had to use a similar engine for 2 of my other cars.

Dont use a 350 balancer unless you have the crank/rods, etc out and get it all balanced as a set.
