need to find out a part number

Can someone tell me the part number for the adapter plate that goes on the back of the transmission that the transfer case bolts up to. The tranny mount also bolts up to this piece. The shop that did my tranny overhaul replaced this piece and now the tranny sits up to high and the propshaft is hitting the floor board. Is this piece different than a regular 4X4 adapter? Thanks for any help!

Jesse went through this on his. This part is commonly broken during removal. Check with JWaller. He had a bunch of them a while back. Also check the tranny mount if they replaced it. They may have used the wrong one making it sit up too high. You must have some serious vibration with the way it is. They couldn't have put the tranny crossmember in upside down could they? No. Holes wouldn't line up. Look at the "shelf" the mount sits in and make sure it looks like this [__] with the mount down inside of it.
Sounds scary

I took the tranny out myself. Everything went back together smooth but the tranny was too high up and yes caused vibration. I have a part number of 15661062 for the adapter but wanted to make sure it was right before i ordered it. The tranny mount is the same one and there is only one way to mount it. So I know thats not the problem.

I have a couple of seals if you need them they are the large o-ring that goes between the Tranny and adaptor.

I was also lookin into a different tranny mount that actually sits lower to compensate the difference and avoid droppin the transfer case again but not sure what the aplication would be. I should be ok on the seals Jesse but thanks anyway. I gotta get this thing goin for the meet on June 8th!!! Hope i can get it acomplished!
