I haven't been able to get a hold of Brian Hartman. My friend took his truck to a shop for an inspection and they tore it all apart. They wouldn't put in a Hartman kit, so he took it out of there and now it's in my garage.
Those mother%#^&ers didn't give him all the parts back!!! I don't think they know where they are, or they put them in someone elses trans, but they're piecing together the parts we're asking for.
Anyway one of the things they didn't give us back is the output shaft (just a little ol part right?). Looking at the tech book for the trans, it has 5 output shafts listed. Corvette, long spline, short spline, 4WD, and Syclone.
It looks like the only difference between the 4WD and the Syclone is there are a couple grooves in the Sy one. Well I'm working on a Typhoon, is there a difference between the Sy and Ty shaft? Can I use the 4WD shaft?
