Hey!!..Just wanted to intro myself into the syty world. Before my ty i was a big nissan ser head (91-94 sentra's) and i was looking for a change of taste. Did some search'n & fell in love with typhoon's.
I've been a member for almost a year & had my ty for about the same time. I've just been doin research & haven fun with my ty for the last year and now since it's summer it's time to have some real fun.
Last September my TC went out on me (view pic below) so the ty has been MIA. Since then i've been saving & searching on what i should to the car for this summer.
My plans for the ty is pretty light (compared to wutever1 else is doing here).
1st im going to be doing all maintenance/tune up and suspension work
Steering/Suspension
-ball joints
-tie rods w/ sleeves
-idler/pitman arms
-drag link
-zq8 box (spooledup hooked it up)
-steer shaft (fivetodrive " ")
-beltech leaf springs
-qa1 w/ 600lb hypercoil coilover's
-beltch sway bars ( frt&rr)
Maint/tuneup
-plugs/wires/cap/rotor
-water pump
-timing chain
-fr&rr brakes
-serp belt w/ tensioner
-New trans from TCC in florida
-Yank TC(2600 stall truck thruster)
-B&M transcoooler
-Egr valve
- IC hose reroute
-new vacuum lines ..etc...

Questions
-Should i upgrade my IC pump even if im keeping my motor pretty stock?
-WTB heater core/evap cover If any1 knows where i can get 1 or if ne1 has 1.
-WTB delco stereo pigtails If any1 knows where i can get 1 or if ne1 has 1.

Any suggestions to my build would help ALOT! So please throw me anything that could get my ty running strong, safe and reliable..thanks

Truckless. For now.
Re: New 92 Ty owner #240(PICS)

Welcome aboard!

Looks like a pretty clean truck and a good list of parts to install. I would say a definite yes to upgrading the IC pump. Anything you can do to help cool things down is a good thing. You might also want to look into doing Soft IC lines.

And I'd say "Kiss your money goodbye" but you've had the truck for a year, so you already know that.

Re: New 92 Ty owner #240(PICS)

Thanks guys...yea im going to do the soft line mod, im actually on my way out to pick the lines and other stuff up.
ground rat- Mostly with the SER's i've just done drag. My 1st one i swapped a bluebird sr20det w/ suspension & other stuff. 2nd one i went to the bigger GTI-r det w/ ITB(indiv. thrttle. bodies), t28 turbo. 3rd one had a roller rocker engine(nothing crazy..its a stock euro engine) & 4th one had a sr20ve(similar to hondas v-tec)...I still love SER's but typhoons are just plain sick. I had an opportunity to grab 1, so i did!

Thanks for replying...Anymore suggestions would be appreciated

Re: New 92 Ty owner #240(PICS)

Well guys i am almost done with everything...The coilovers will have to wait a couple weeks due to my new job i'm starting....but everything else looks good...Im having problems with the 2600yank tc install...the pilot seems too long compared to my stocky..Im going to post some q's on the drivetrain section but if any1 can chime in it'll be appreciated..
