Congrats Frank! That was a nice smooth looking run. It didn't sound like 3300rpm at the line...maybe my ears need a tune up?! :) Sure makes me want to get all my parts put together...don't think I could afford the 80e though.

Thanks Rob.

Come on now 80s are a dime a dozen now. Even bone stock ones hold up. Get your ass in gear.

It was 3300 on the 2 step. It's the little 3 inch turbo back with Magnaflow muffler can. It's pretty quit. This way I can here the monster audio system while I'm blowing away corvettes and mustangs!!

I'm curious as to why you chose a Single disk converter especially at your power level as most run a Multi/Triple disk? Since I'm doin the 80e swap this winter was hopin to only get HD clutches/Sprag and HD2 Shift kit and not worry about getting the Billet shafts. I did snap my 700r4 Output shaft this year though. I would think a Mildly built 80e would be fine for me...

If you'd like I'll share your Video on the Facebook page so others can view it and get you mroe Business

I only lock up the converter in 3rd. It has never slipped. In my experience a good single will hold up to 800hp. . However a multi is what i have for my Typhoon Bowtie setup.
By all means Share Away !!

When you guna push that Beast into the 9's Frank?? :turbo:

Im holding out for a cool night with good air. Im sure it wont be long!! Im also installing a 4 way line lock tied to the 2 step button. This will make my launches more consistent right now I have to use button for the 2step and foot brake. The brakes wont hold much past 6psi. Id like to get the 60 foot down to a 1.4X that's going to be key to running a 9.8X.

Too small of a Converter? Can't wait to see a 9sec pass, I'm sure it won't take much.

I like the tighter converter!! Its a street car after all, I drive it a few days a week . I had a 3800 in my typhoon I hated driving it. Ill get it done with the 3300.. or ill spray it with a 50 shot out the hole LOL

Frank

Have you done the Hboost setup yet? I am pretty consistent in the 1.4 60s with it honestly.
