My Syclone hasn't been out since last fall. Carlise is coming up so I wanted to make some test passes to make sure the tune is safe.. I drove it out to the track made 3 passes pretty much back to back. Each won faster than my best. Despite the heat and soupy air it ran Great. The results are in and some how with much lower boost than my Typhoon I went faster than the Tys best 10.27 @ 135. There's plenty left in it too. I'm holding out on turning it up until cooler air is here. Im going to try and break the AWD syclone SB record. We will see!!

That's awesome Frank! How much Boost and Timing? Was the last shift the Converter lockup or 4th shift?

What's the current Fastest Syclone Stock Block record?

Im not for certain but I think Jamie Hacking went 9.89@133

yes the last shift is the converter locking.

I have not even put this thing on a dyno yet Timing is super conservative for e85 22*
Boost peaked at 20#

Did all this threw the full 3"exhaust too. No dump!! I was pretty shocked myself.

I'm running 20psi and 25* Timing on Corn. Feels stronger Compared to my 10.7 pass on 23psi on 18* with Meth. You beat Matt Geros Time he ran 10.23.

How built is that 80e? What stall?

Billet shafts 36 element sprag al the good stuff. It be like a stage 4 from Jakes. .I purchased it from George Blake When he was active on here. Miss that guy!! . . The converter is 3300 billet single disk. That's a bit tighter than id like it for racing but this is my driver so I wanted it that way. I used a 3800 in the Typhoon.

That sounds great.. What RPM are you shifting it? It tears through the gears quick!

You would kick my ass.. I don't run through the gears that quick and I'm shifting at like 5800... I'm also having an issue with break-up at the top of 2nd and I'm not sure I'll have it figured out in time..

Any idea of how much power your truck is making?

I have no idea. I've never strapped it down. I've tuned it mostly by seat of the pants. It's one heavy bitch. So to get it down the chute that fast it's got to be around 700 at the tire.

Congrats Frank! That was a nice smooth looking run. It didn't sound like 3300rpm at the line...maybe my ears need a tune up?! :) Sure makes me want to get all my parts put together...don't think I could afford the 80e though.
