Hey Guys, my name is Zach. I'm from St. Louis and i'm currently in college. Well here is my story i have been around cars all my life and i have raced dragsters since I was 8. I currently own a 1985 s10 Blazer 2wd that i spent a lot of time customizing. I am in the processs of buying a 1991 s10 Blazer 4x4. The reason i joined is because i love sy/ty's always have. Also because i want to either turbo''ing the existing 4.3 that is in the 4x4 im buying or trying to find or building a sy/ty motor to drop in.

this is my current 85 2wd

Nice rig, i had a 90 s10 blazer 2wd that looked similar but was white... fun as hell to drive in my opinion...kinda regret selling it.

this is what i started with kinda.
at this point i had already patched a lot of the rust. and put back in two of the windows that did not exist when i bought it. it was a repo and i bought it after it had sat on the lot with 3 windows missing and no front end for a year.

nothing under the hood yet because this is my daily and i can't afford to park it for any length of time. === solution=== buy another one (which is where the 4x4 91 comes into play) that way i can drive it while i put a v8 in the 85. then once the v8 is in i'll park the 4x4 and make it just as cool and put a turbo v6 in, then the eventual plan is to pick one of them to keep and sell the other.

( i have another project completely unrelated to s10's but its a hot rod that will be my really fun car)

I know of someone on the board that is going to be selling a just built syty motor. It has eagle rods, SPR pistons, 4 bolt block, etc. No miles, never installed. I am sure it will be on the board soon.
