buddy, i'm out of here around the 19thish of june...I am still thinking of selling it..joe was interested. I think i'll kill myself in the long run if i do however, so i'll probably put her up for a few years at least.
i'm thinking i'm going to tear it down piece by piece so i can learn a bunch of crap then have it built...long time for that however...i just can't stand having a truck that i spent 5 years on progressing everything to a bigger turbo, trying to do it all right, then going on the tuning phase with the goal of having one of the few stock motor 11'sec trucks only to have some unexplainable thing cause some odd knock and make a a slow ass high 12sec truck.
so f' it, it can sit.

jeff should i do alky you have it dont you im going for the same gole as you fast and untouched
if you do sell you know joe will take care of it just dont regret it

If you didn't go with bigger injecters then i'd say for sure go with alki....if you went with bigger injecters, then I say wait and see what you can get out of it before alki. Once you got it running good without alki, then use it...basically don't use it as a bandaid. ALso depends on your goals...what boost are you wanting to run. If your going to try to push 24 psi on the stock motor, then i'd use it. 20 and below, see what it does first.
Really it can't hurt...but you can save some money and go faster with less if you can get her to run without it.
My goal was high 11's with stock untouched motor and stock injecters...not many trucks doing that. So much for that goal...if i had to do it all over, i'd keep the truck bone stock and save for a build. Either than or not touch. The inbeteen shit is just way to much of a PITA when your still trying to learn cars in general, let alone on a vehicle like this. I did everything right and have all the right parts...I took my time to learn etc. Even with a guru like Dig, we never did figure it out and i pulled the plug since i'm moving.
Is your tranny stock? That may be your weakest link if its a stocker.

I'd hold off on the alki, you can always add it...Dig is the man, one of the few, you'll see. Assuming that thing is running fine, you'll be blow away with what he can do. He's just another phil long or brian green. About the alki however, if you do it, do it now i guess now that I think about it...if you are having a custom chip burned all the tuning will have to include the alki. So you sorta need to decide to do it or not. I'd ask Dig what he things. You'll have enough fuel, so its a matter of what boost you want to run.
Not sure what to tell ya on a TC...i'll look around and ask a guy i know. what do you want, a 9/11?

You guys will have fun at Turbo Thunder..on July 30th around 8 am until late! Go to Turbobuick.com in the Pacific NW area for details. It will be cool to mix it up with both the trucks and the Buicks.. There will be some other turbo cars there that will amaze you!! ...Seriously. We got videos from last year of the event and it was great!
You have to go! This will be our third year, We had the GN and the Sy.. Pat and I both raced, it was great! Its not that far away and not far from I-5. There's a car show, swap meet, and the turbo racing will be just turbos against other turbos there, we will have a class and area all our own. Usually we have two lanes, and the Chevy showdown is just Chevies and Chevy powered cars, but they aren't racing us. We go for trophies or plaques and money! We will have t shirts, and a vendor there that makes embroidered jackets hats bags, etc. Come early and get a spot. Lots will be showing up Friday night, the 29th!
We will have a TT6 registration fee at the track, at Dave Loney's RV..and all of that money goes towards turbo cars only payouts, there will be the usual fee to get into the track and tech card. You only have to race us, not all the other cars.
Anyone game....? Its not that far away, you can follow us all down!

I'm going to be selling off the last of the GMC shirts and jackets we have in stock at Weston GMC at the July 30th gathering at Woodburn dragstrip. The shirts are all button down, and there may even be a few polos in the mix. Most of the jackets are light, some are a little heavier.....good for wintertime. Sorry, but they only have the GMC logo embroidered on them, so SY or Ty logos.
I'm going to be selling them at DEAD COST. NO MARKUP. We have had these sitting around for a couple of years now, and the boss says they gotta go. He says sitting on inventory this old is actually costing the dealership money. I'm not an inventory control specialist, so I'll take his word for it.
After the drags have come and gone, I'll take some pics and I'll sell them here online. He just wants me to sell as many as I can at Woodburn, so we deal with shipping costs as little as possible.
