I never head out that way, but I think Rick and Dean are in GP if I'm not mistaken. So there are a few of them out there.

Ok, thanks. Their screen names are RGL & ALBERTAN I think? I'd notice they're from GP area.
Rick/Dean - either of you have meets in GP? Are there many other SyTy fans around?

Maybe others will post up from Northern BC/AB area as well.

Re: Official Canada SyTy rolecall.

Walked over to Lic bureau yesterday and bought a new sticker for sy 601 then went for a drive dodging all the huge puddles and snow melting as it hit 58 degrees today. Now have about 2 hrs and 50 mi on the new .030 engine and turbo rebuild.Feels good after a ruff winter rebuild that got way of control. Oh well, spring is on its way.

Rick and Dean both live in GP. Gord Mah who owns Audio Concepts in GP has a 92 Ty with 1000 miles on it, it was bought into Canada by GM for the Vancouver Indy Race back in '92, he never comes on here, we've talked a couple times when I call him to invite him to the Canadian SyTy Nats.

Re: Official Canada SyTy rolecall.

Hey Carl,
2 fuel pumps, 2 fuel filters and a new gas tank almost cured it. Still had some crap in the fuel rails and the injectors were flushed just to make sure all the residue from the old tank was gone.Added a new module, sensor, plugs and wires just to blow the budget some more.I have a rear cladding issue and wonder if you have had any time doing these.I'll drop by when snow is all gone and the roads clear up a bit.

Hah hah.
Yeah, this one is a high miler that needs some TLC but it should be a fun little project.

Re: Official Canada SyTy rolecall.

Psst... If you north-of-the-border types wouldn't mind registering a few of the trucks in this thread, it'd help the guys out a ton:

http://www.syty.net/forums/showpost.php?p=585535&postcount=12

Direct link to register:

http://www.sportmachines.com/members/register2.php

Don't want to put your name in? No problem.... just check the no-name box, and list it as a "spotted on the road" truck.

Color, last 4 of VIN, and registered province would help a bunch.

Thanks,

Can you get to the main sportmachines.com page? You can go to the registry from there.

Re: Official Canada SyTy rolecall.

Ran into a guy sunday from west lethbridge who recently imported a wht/wht 92 Typhoon from japan, if i remember right its TY #1569, origionally teal/grey with just over 60,000miles. Sounds like he's going to paint it and sell it.

Thought i'd mention it.
