So what are the saftey must haves for the track, for low 12 high 11 times? Helemet? fire jacket? and what time are you guys going to be there? :tup:

Not going to make it this weekend. Going to wait another week or so. We plan to be pushing his truck REAL hard, rather it be a bit cooler.

Thats cool, i understand that. What about the safety stuff. I have a helmet but no fire jacket, if its even required? But let me know when you guys are going, im only about an hour from there.

:rant: Bad news for us Cincy guys, I just got off the phone with Scott(SY2300) and the 21st is the day of his wedding.....doh....what a good friend I am...I say we gotta get your truck runnin before the 21st...he says why....I say so we can go to the meet in Toledo...he says uh that is the day I am getting married....I say oh shit and I am invited...well needless to say, we will not be there this go round, but definitely next time, unless it is on May 27th which of course is the dya of my wedding...stupid weddings messin up all the fun. :rant:

Sorry to hear that. Well, if things work out this time and everything goes well without any problems I will start hosting more. I will take alot of pics and video, the wife is a photographer. Have fun at the wedding and tell Scott we all said congrats from Toledo.

CONGRATS on the wedding ! Welp, I am now officially out since I will be going out of state that weekend . Figures that when the Ohio folks *finally* set up a meet, I can't attend. Maybe next time... Hope that everyone has a fun and safe trip !

We have a group from Fort Wayne going to Norwalk Friday the 20th. I am thinking of coming on Saturday on my way back. If it rains Friday I probably won't go to Norwalk through. Also I have a set of BBS wheels that I would sell.

I will update you next week...Fort Wayne sports some fast cars. One of my friends came in fifth at the pump gas drags this year. Was in the Hot Rod pump gas magizine feature...1967 Cornet, 602 ci hemi...runs high 8s.

I'll still try to make it on the 21st. I just finished my engine but having a problem with the intake gasket leaking. It should be fixed soon.
