well, it's certainly different. and those rims would probably take mag chloride better. was thinking of doing that on my ty for that reason, only problem is they don't make a white-pearl powdercoat. and it would look really really bad on a white/grey. :lol:

I actually don't really mind the white wheels on a white/white Ty. The white is light enough that it's somewhat close (in hue or whatever the artsy term is) to the stock coloring. As compared to painting the wheels on a Sy black or something.

its funny that u posted it, i saw a message that said one white ty and i wantedto look at what it was and sure enough it was mine
truth be told I HATE THOSE RIMS!!! :fist:
im 19 and spent most of my money on the truck and it came with those rims
i would like to put z06 rims on it but i dont have the cash flow, but i dont really care right now cuz its a Ty and its mine and it makes me warm and fuzzy inside whenever i look at it or sit in it or smoke a gay ass ricer

You can refinish those to stock color relatively easy-like. Once you get the wheels you want, or can afford to have your truck incapacitated for a couple days...

I like the white wheels actually. Wouldn't do it myself but it looks good.

Reminds me of my Ty when I 1st got it.Imagine just the center part of the rim,not the center caps,or the lip of the rim,just the center part painted teal to match the truck.It was ugly!!!!
