Painted LMC tailgate + decal placement

I have searched all over for the correct decal/sticker placement with a lot of dead ends. Anyone have the correct measurements for a SY?

Get creative with the placement! But now too goofy! Or just photo shop someone else's gate and do the measurements!

You just need a sy owner that is willing to run into their garage and get some mesurements. Im sure one will chime in tomorrow.

Dont wanna steal thread but was gonna just post almost same thing! Does anyone know how long the gmc sticker on tailgate is stickerbomb offers 4inch and up? Placement would nice as well?
But i do need tailgate as mine as a dent :tdown:

If noone gets a measurement for you on size, I make them as well on the side and can get you the size, i dont have the time to make them now though . As for the placement there is several threads covering it. I'm on my phone now so its harder to look it up now. I am sure it is in the truck supplement books as well. No guaranty though I'll try to look it up and post back. I'm working now so won't be till tomorrow or next day maybe someone else can find it first.

I got it pretty close. I used what someone with a stock painted truck posted.
Let me know and I can post that info:

Also for the paint gurus, I used PPG Concept primer, color, and DCU 2021 clear. Sprayed primer with a $12 harbor freight gun, and color+ clear with a $100 Sharpe Finnex HVLP.

Also these decals were from Boosted, around $50, the syclone decal is great, the GMC truck is good, but a little jagged up close.

Bottom left corner of "s" from left edge of gate = 2.5". Bottom of "y" to bottom of gate = 5-5/8". Left bottom of "n" from bottom of gate = 5-3/4" far right corner of bottom of "e" from
edge of gate = 18-1/8".

Gmc truck. Bottom of lettering is 6-3/4" from bottom edge. Bottom rt corner of "k" = 6-1/8" from right edge of gate. These were taken from a know-original tailgate and decals on #1230 back in 2002. I still have them on my wall.

No... there's 2 stickers on the rear gate. 1 says "Typhoon" the other says "GMC Truck". If it's says motorsports, those aren't factory.

The hardest part was trying to make straight. Maybe I will make some type of guide you print out to help, like the OEM ones had.
