good luck... talk to WALLER if you want to know how a spool in the front feels.... hard rights towards the wall lol..... from what jwaller said during his passes at the track he had to lift cause the truck was heading towards the wall HARD. it was to much to stay in it he had to lift then get back init

And maybe I'm just being old and foolish but I would have to worry about that thing being way out of balance and destroying bearings quick with all that weld being applied like that!

He could also talk to Ed Hess about this as well because he had the same issue I believe

So even the Powertrax units are causing problems? Are there any other posi's out there that aren't causing issues?

There is nothing else available for the 7.2 IFS except the Power Trax. You better put a dial indicator to the gear flange to see how much it is warped. All of that welding had to move the metal around some. Better replace those bearings too.

i would'nt say that.... keep in mind that waller.ed hess and maybe a few others are at levels that most of us will never see. i bought the one that was in ed's truck...as i could'nt find one new..i have not ran the thing yet as my truck is being rebuilt. i plan to post a how i like/dislike it once i have had the time to drive with it.

the only other issue i can see is.... what if the truck pulling toward the wall is'nt from the lock rite but the truck not being setup correctly. i would imagine that if someone spent enough time setting the suspension up you could make anything go straight. :2cents:

I have a locker in the front and it goes straight. What I found is that you have to keep both the front wheels planted on the ground. It took getting the rear setup right and the front a-arms tied down to keep the front planted. I also boxed in the frame rails to keep the frame from flexing. Before I did the rear end and frame I would have to line up at a slight angle to keep from going into the wall.
