Making progress, lookin good. Are you keeping rear drums?

I'm not keeping the rear drums they went in the trash. The rear brakes are Wilwoods 13" rotors and 4 piston calipers for a 1998-2002 Camaro and then I used Camaro LS1 rear backing plate/park brake/caliper mounts.

yea sorry, I saw it when I looked again. The Black coated rotors look killer. I went with Power Stop slotted and cross drilled, and they changed the whole look of the Ty....if you run a non stocker wheel...so you can see those purdy brakes. Did I miss what you used to coat the frame? Or is it powder coated?

The frame is done in a rubber undercoating and then painted over that with a chassis stain black paint. Make it easy for cleaning and touching up if it gets chipped or I start changing things.

Finished up the rear diff and rear brakes. I reinstalled the diff back into the truck , but I still have to get the sway back on. Then I bench bled the Wilwood master cylinder then installed the porpotioning valve and finished installing the unit onto the hydraboost.

Re: pics of my sy #2695

Started to work on the sy some more getting some more thing checked off the to do list. Started on redoing the exhaust and installing v-band clamps and a flex joint in since the engine is solid mounted and the exhaust is not will help reducing some unwanted vibrations.

Then started working on a mount for battery cut off switch which will be mounted under the box on the rear cross member.

Plates cut and ready for welding

Welded and smoothed down also drill holes and welded nuts for easy removal

Mocked up in the truck. I will have the lever come out through the spare tire hole.

Then I final mounted my transmission cooler.

Good idea with the VBands and flex pipe. I had a Vband installed on my downpipe by the cutout. Love those things.

Re: pics of my sy #2695

My project is making some progress installed the battery in the bed of the truck and ran all the battery cables. Installed the carpeted bed liner and also installed some aluminum spacers in the carpet for the battery box to sit on when it is bolted down and doesn't compress the carpet. Finally made it a point to install my Truxedo box cover and it looks awesome. I like it better than the factory one. I have also started on the 4l80 wiring which I have mostly done and i started on wiring in the electric fan controller.

I was considering a change in color for the Syclone...

Can I see more pictures of your truck?

Thanks!

I just bought some exhaust gasket material from the parts store and made one. I don't remember the part number. I also made the gasket for the turbo mount as well since I have ported exhaust manifolds and exhaust housing on the turbo no other gaskets work.

Your ZR1 looks killer. The paint color is a Toyota speed way blue.
Here are a few pics of it in 2014
