Pinout Question

hi guys, i just finished repinning my '730 harness for the '749 ECM, but i have a few questions. the pinout i got were from gm_ecm.org, and im not sure if i did it 100% right. there doesn't seem to be a 4th gear input, is this correct? the pinout i have shows a EGR Diagnostic circuit, but i have never heard of this. basically im looking for some input from someone who has done this.

one thing i found is the myth about the IAC. there is a big dedate on TGO that you have to change wires for the IAC, but i found it to be the same.

thanks for any input you guys can give me, Jim.

No gear inputs at all.

EGR diag is pretty much integrated into the EGR harness.

I strongly suspect the IAC thing depends on which particular IAC part# you have.
I looked through the code, and could never find a difference internally.

Re: Pinout Question

Ive heard the debate go bath ways on the IAC thing myself too. Some say its wrong, some say it works. Good luck with the swap. I repinned my 85 Vette from the 6870 ECM to a 165, and since its supercharged I hope to someday upgrade to the SyTy ECM. Having both of my SC vehicles running the same code would be simpler.
