K... learning a bit more about this... Thanks guys!

What are the leading favorites for AFPR's?

Is the Racetronics fuel system upgrade the poop or the dank? Any problems with running the big, high-pressure pump on stock injectors/turbo/heads?

Does one really need a fuel pressure gauge? If so...what's the most effective install?

AFPR= all billet unit. I'd contact Mike Lee for one.

Racetronics seems like a nice unit, I just put a pump in from Ron G in 1998 and forgot about the rest.

You need some kind of a fuel pressure gauge to adjust your AFPR and check that boost rises properly. Personally, I put a mechanical VDO on the schrader valve when I want to check it and then take it off. I can't stand a ton of gauges inside my truck on the pillar, in the cupholder and everywhere else.

Okay thanks!

The sender relocation kit from RPM...that attaches to the Schrader valve on the rail and then you mount the sender for the gauge on the firewall? Is this so that extra stuff hanging on the rail will cause it to break? A sending unit is that big/heavy?

Also. RPM's weldon pump looks very different from the Walbro...is it, as well, an in-tank pump, or a secondary pump?

That's exactly what the sender kit is for.

Weldon pump is external and is overkill for anything that doesn't run 10's or faster.

I don't have that much bread to drop but from what I can tell, if the fuel system isn't the first thing you do then you will be thrashed with a cheese grater by the guru's around here. I, having no intention of invoking the wrath of those who know more than me, have decided to agree.
