Quick injector question

After having removed fuel lines, rail bolts, and injector clips, do you just take out the injectors by popping them out of the rail and engine? Is it better to pull the whole rail straight up and hope they all pop off or to somehow work one free at a time. Any tips would be well appreciated. And yes, I did use the search function.

I left the clips in and started lifting from one corner, #1 or #2 cyl. and worked my way around. Just don't yank anything hard. You don't want to crack the fuel rail.
